About Us

Actionable Advice is a specialist consulting practice run by Brenda Setchell and David Rivett. We work with a tightly knit group of associates whom we have come to trust and respect. David & Brenda first worked together at Fitch PLC over twenty years ago.

We specialise in projects in two main sectors, Health and Marketing Services. These mirror our respective skills and backgrounds but in certain areas such as strategy, communications, marketing and financial evaluation we also collaborate closely.

Our  experience over the last twenty plus years has been in Consulting within larger practices. In David’s case in design and branding and for Brenda in Health, Justice and general management consultancy.

Both David and Brenda have MBAs from London Business School and experience of  running businesses as well as acting as advisors and counsellors.  Click through to see our biographies in detail

David started Actionable Advice in 2001 with the aim of bringing to bear  his blue chip company experience, together with that of the  fantastic people he has  worked with over the years, on the issues that confront all creative businesses. Brenda became a partner and joint owner in 2011 and brings the same Philosophy to the Health sector. We deliver pragmatic, actionable advice, that produces results.
